Sasaka
Grandma Roswitha shapes these lovingly made little pigs out of Sasaka for the snack platters. Sasaka is the Windisch word for minced Speck. At the Wunderhof it is made from smoked shoulder Speck: the rind is removed, the Speck goes through the mincer and is filled straight into 250 g pots. It is traditionally enjoyed as a spread on bread, or melted over pasta, in cabbage salad or with scrambled eggs… the only limit is your imagination. Enjoy!
